James Pattinson a target for Nottinghamshire ahead of County Championship campaign

Nottinghamshire are chasing a deal for Australian bowler James Pattinson.
The 28-year-old impressed during a 2017 stint at Trent Bridge and, after forcing his way back from a period of injury troubles, Notts are trying to bring him back for the first half of the new campaign.
"We'd like to get him back. There's a fair bit of talking to do with him, Victoria and Cricket Australia," director of cricket Mick Newell told the Nottingham Post.
"We've got to confirm his dates and matches, but he's someone who has done very well for us before. If we can get him back on a deal that works for us, then we would definitely do it.
"We'd like to get him for two and half to three months. I think Victoria have one more match then the final of the Sheffield Shield. There's time to see when he would arrive and hopefully he would stay till early July. The fact he wants to come if a good start.
"He definitely wants to come so it's about securing Cricket Australia's permission."
Pattinson has claimed 14 Sheffield Shield wickets in five matches for Victoria this season.
