The newly-retired allrounder asks the India administrators to allow him to play in limited-overs leagues across the world
Yuvraj Singh has confirmed his intention to play in T20 leagues across the world after asking the BCI for permission to spend his tender years overseas.
The former India allrounder confirmed his retirement from all forms of international cricket last week after 19 years at the summit of the sport.
After representing his country in 40 Test matches, 304 one-day internationals and 58 T20, Yuvraj wants to spend the twilight of his career playing the shortened format.
"He wrote to the board yesterday. I don't see an issue in him getting the nod to play in overseas leagues now that he has retired from international cricket and IPL," a BCCI source told PTI.

Active players are banned from competition in T20 leagues around the world and consent must be obtained from cricket's governing body before any spell can begin.
Irfan Pathan has been selected for this year's Caribbean Premier League having not sought permission from the BCCI.
Having made such a request, Yuvraj could now operate in the T20 Blast in England, South Africa's Mzansi Super League and the Big Bash in Australia, among others.
After spells with Kings Xi Punjab, Pune Warriors India, Royal Challengers Bangalore, the Delhi Daredevils and Sunrisers Hyderabad, the 37-year-old player for Mumbai Indians in last year's Indian Premier League but made just four outings during the campaign.
