A fascinating insight into the industries – sadly most of them now part of history – which made Nottingham famous the world over. And in the grand setting of Wollaton Hall, where the stags that are etched onto the county emblem roam free. If you really do have time to spare, you can walk across from here to the rolling University of Nottingham campus and from there into town.
