Where is the match being played?

Every game in the 2021 Caribbean Premier League is being held at Warner Park on St Kitts, in an effort to minimise the Covid-19 risk to the tournament.

Who’s got the form?

It's first versus second in this penultimate round clash. Both sides have won five and lost three of their eight matches to date, with Trinbago Knight Riders topping the table on net run rate. Trinbago and St Kitts are two points clear of Jamaica Tallawahs, St Lucia Kings, and Guyana Amazon Warriors with two matches remaining.

Trinbago have won four of their past five matches, only dropping points against Guyana Amazon Warriors who defeated the defending champions in a Super Over. In their most recent outing, the Knight Riders restricted Barbados Royals to just 93 for 9 before chasing down the victory with 19 balls, and six wickets, to spare.

St Kitts & Nevis Patriots, by contrast, won their opening five matches before suffering two successive defeats at the hands of St Lucia Kings to see their winning momentum derailed. They have now lost three matches in a row, most recently suffering a 22-run defeat at the hands of Jamaica Tallawahs.

Who to watch?

Ravi Rampaul is the leading wicket-taker in the CPL to date, with 17 wickets in eight appearances, and has earned a call-up to West Indies' World Cup squad off the back of his performances. 11 of his wickets have come in his past five outings, with best figures of 4 for 29, but he was wicketless against Barbados Royals last time out. Also keep an eye on his teammate Akeal Hosein, who's economy of 4.25 is the best of any player to have bowled more than 10 over in the tournament.

For St Kitts, Fabian Allen has proven himself to be a nuisance with bat and ball this season, scoring 117 runs at a strike rate of 139.28 and taking seven wickets. With his side's top-order, which includes Evin Lewis and Chris Gayle, struggling for consistency this year, expect Allen to play a big part in procedings despite batting below number five.
