The Pakistan tour will still go ahead as the touring party were staying elsewhere in Harare
Two Zimbabwe players and support staff have tested positive for Covid-19.
Regis Chakabva and Timycen Maruma, the two players who tested positive, were both part of the provisional 25-man squad to tour Pakistan. They weren't part of the 20-man squad that travelled this week.
The pair were staying in a room together at the bio-secure Zimbabwe Cricket academy in Harare. Zimbabwe Cricket then screened and tested those who were in close contact tp Chakabva and Maruma - two members of staff "who were providing support services" tested positive.
The Pakistan tour will still go ahead as the touring party were staying elsewhere in Harare. They have since arrived in Islamabad and will finish their quarantine period on Tuesday. The party will be tested again.
"Chakabva and Maruma, as well as the other two infected backroom staffers, are currently observing a period of self-isolation in accordance with Covid-19 protocols," a Zimbabwe Cricket statement said. "We wish the four a speedy recovery and look forward to welcoming them back at work soon.
"Apart from providing support to those infected and affected, we will continue to adhere to government and public health guidelines with regards to our facilities and staff, and will be taking further steps to curb the spread of the coronavirus."
