The auction for the inaugural edition of the Women's Premier League.
The Women's Premier League auction will be held on Monday, February 13, at 2.30pm local time (9am GMT).
The auction for the inaugural edition of the WPL will be held at Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.
A total of five teams will compete against each other in the inaugural edition of the WPL.

A total of 409 players will go under the hammer as each team can buy a maximum of 18 and a minimum of 15 players in the squad. The overseas cap in a squad is seven, with a maximum of five in the playing XI, including one from an associate nation.
There are 246 Indian cricketers and 163 overseas players, including eight from associate nations. The number of capped and uncapped players are almost equal, as there are 202 capped and 199 uncapped players shortlisted for the auction.
Bidding starts at each player's base price. The franchises continue bidding until there is no greater bid.
The base price has been divided into categories of 50 lakh (£50,000), 40 lakh (£40,000), and 30 lakh (£30,000), while the base price for uncapped players ranges between 10 lakh and 20 lakh (£10,000 - £20,000).
The total purse for a franchise to assemble a squad for the inaugural edition of the WPL is 12 crore (£1.2million).
Since this is the inaugural edition of the Women’s Premier League, all teams will get an equal opportunity to build a strong squad and get some prominent names on the side.

Thirty-one English players are set to go under the hammer in the WPL auction on February 13. Out of these 27 players, the under-19 skipper Grace Scrivens is the only uncapped English player in the auction.
From the capped list, we can expect Sophie Ecclestone, Nat Sciver-Brunt, and Heather Knight to fetch a good sum in this auction.
