The Cricketer looks at the individual performances from England's Women's World Cup victory against New Zealand
Suzie Bates (22): An imperious pull shot apart, struggled to get into her stride – chipped a catch to mid-off 4
Sophie Devine (41): Game turned on her injury retirement; returned later but the wind had left New Zealand's sails after a fast start 6
Amelia Kerr (24; 0-41): Looked in decent touch but fell to Dean's variation of pace; wicketless as England played her cautiously 5
Amy Satterthwaite (24): Started slowly and let England back into the game in struggling to rotate the strike, missed a sweep just as she seemed to be getting going; captained excellently 5
Maddy Green (52*): Held the innings together as wickets fell around her; planted Ecclestone over long on for six – the highlight of a good knock 7
Brooke Halliday (2; 1-18): Brilliantly run out by Sciver, who dived full length at extra cover and threw the stumps down; an unlikely bowler and a fortuitous wicket 4

Katey Martin (6): Trapped in front as she attempted to pull Cross off her length; kept tidily 3
Lea Tahuhu (0; 1-18): Expensive at first before dismissing Beaumont with a beauty; left hamstring injury ended her game prematurely in a major blow to her side 5
Frankie Mackay (1; 4-34): Impeccable with the ball and became more dangerous as the rain came down and the pitch began to skid on more; deserved to be on the winning side 8
Hannah Rowe (5; 0-53): Too short at times and England attacked her; held a good catch to get rid of Wyatt 4
Jess Kerr (14; 2-36): Wholehearted display and began New Zealand's fightback with the wicket of Sciver 6
Tammy Beaumont (25): Looked primed for a defining contribution but missed a delivery that nipped between bat and pad from Tahuhu 5
Danni Wyatt (12): Clearly given licence to play her shots, and three flashing boundaries suggested it might be her day until slicing to mid-off 3
Heather Knight (42): Completely untroubled in England's reply before falling to a marginal lbw call; earlier took a fantastic one-handed catch at extra cover 6
Natalie Sciver (61; 0-27): Ought to have seen England home but did her bit with a crucial half century; bowled nicely and went under the radar through the middle overs 8
Amy Jones (1): Kept well but plonked a full toss into the hands of midwicket for a desperate dismissal 2
Sophia Dunkley (33): Excellent contribution and ultimately undone by a decent delivery from Mackay; mastering the tempo of the No.6 role in this tournament 7

Katherine Brunt (6; 0-38): Erratic with the new ball and wayward at the death, another below-par display from the leader of England's attack; ran herself out inexplicably 3
Sophie Ecclestone (0; 3-41): New Zealand looked to attack her, but she rarely went away from her strength, targeting the stumps and ending with three wickets 7
Kate Cross (2; 3-35): England's best seamer by a distance, consistent in her lengths and rarely giving width to New Zealand's batters 7
Charlie Dean (0*; 2-36): Impeccable yet again on a surface that offered little to the spinner; wily beyond her years and found plenty of drift, and a mature brain at the end with the bat 7
Anya Shrubsole (7*; 0-21): Hardly required with the ball after a poor start where she was expensive and struggled to control her line; kept England's World Cup hopes alive with the bat 4
