WOMEN'S T20 BLASt ROUNDUP: But as results were reached at Arundel and Old Trafford, there was no such luck for The Blaze and Somerset at Trent Bridge
Arundel: Durham 119-6, Hampshire 33-2 - Durham won by one run (D/L/S method)
Grace Thompson bowled an exemplary over just before it hosed it down to give Durham a dramatic one-run victory by Duckworth-Lewis-Stern over Hampshire Hawks in the T20 Blast.
Durham had scored 119 on a slow track, thanks to Suzie Bates' 34 and Bess Heath's 29 – with Freya Davies and Bex Tyson each picking up two wickets.
With heavy rain forecast, the race was on to bowl the five overs needed to constitute a match, Maia Bouchier got Hampshire ahead of the rate, but Trudy Johnson made sure the scores level on DLS at the five-over mark.
Before Thompson only conceded three runs in the following over before the rain got too heavy and umpires Ant Harris and Julia Jarvis took the players off – with Hawks two runs shy of a winning score.
It handed Durham their first Blast victory and Hawks back-to-back defeats.

Old Trafford: Lancashire 85-6, Surrey 62-4 - Surrey won by two runs (D/L/S method)
Surrey gained revenge for last month's T20 County Cup final defeat to Lancashire Thunder as they won a weather-shortened T20 Blast clash at Emirates Old Trafford by two runs on Duckworth-Lewis-Stern.
In an 11-over per side game, visiting spinners Kalea Moore and Tilly Corteen-Coleman struck twice apiece to restrict Lancashire to 85 for 6 following a 3.15pm start due to rain. Fi Morris top-scored with 29 off 25 balls for the home side.
Surrey's third successive win at the start of this competition was then confirmed as when rain returned at 62 for 4 after eight overs of their chase, they were ahead of the DLS target.

Trent Bridge: The Blaze v Somerset - match abandoned
Heavy rain washed out the first half of a double-header at Trent Bridge as the T20 Blast match between The Blaze and Somerset Women was abandoned without a ball bowled.
Both teams take two points each, which was enough for The Blaze to move level with Surrey Women at the top of the points table, albeit from a match more.
Unbeaten Blaze had picked up their second victory of the competition against Essex Women at Derby on Friday (June 6).
The abandonment completed a frustrating trip to the Midlands for Somerset, who were heavily beaten by Bears Women at Edgbaston on Friday, although it does give them their first points of the campaign after opening with three defeats.
