Utilita Bowl: Somerset 153-8, Hampshire 154-2 - Hampshire win by eight wickets

Freya Kemp proved Hampshire Hawks' last-over hero to edge a nail-biter against winless Somerset in the Women's Vitality Blast.

Rhianna Southby's 57, and Ellyse Perry's 40, had given Hampshire the advantage in chasing 154, but accurate bowling had seen them fall behind the rate.

With 11 runs needed off the last over, Kemp pumped a six down the ground before knocking off the remaining runs to give Hawks just their second win in the last seven matches to give them renewed hope of qualifying for finals day.

Fran Wilson had given Somerset a defendable total with a cute 55, but it wasn't enough for the bottom-placed side.

Trent Bridge: The Blaze v Durham 16-1 - No result

Heavy rain following a delayed start caused the Vitality Blast Women's match between The Blaze and Durham Women at Trent Bridge to be abandoned with only 25 balls bowled.  Both teams take two points each.

The result lifts The Blaze, who began the day in second place behind Surrey Women in the points table, to 31 points from 10 matches, with four still to play.

The start was initially delayed until 12.15pm after the start had been scheduled for 11am. Durham were four for one from 4.1 overs when a cloudburst forced the players off, New Zealand batter Suzie Bates having been caught at mid-on from left-arm seamer Grace Ballinger's bowling.

Lancashire's Emma Lamb negotiated the run chase for her side with an unbeaten 60 (Luke Adams)

Old Trafford: Bears 123-7, Lancashire 124-3 - Lancashire win by seven wickets

Alana King took 2 for 16 and Emma Lamb made an unbeaten 60 as Lancashire Thunder defeated Bears by seven wickets at Emirates Old Trafford to keep their Vitality Blast top three qualification hopes alive.

After a promising opening partnership of 39 between Meg Austin and Issy Wong, a good bowling performance led by King saw the Thunder claw back the advantage and it was a quickfire 21 from Laura Harris and a late-innings unbeaten 30 by Katie George that pushed the Bears to a total of 123 for 7 after being put in to bat.

Lancashire countered with a good opening stand themselves of 45 between Eve Jones and Lamb, and that was backed up an even better alliance of 60 in under 9 overs between Lamb and Tilly Kesteven for the second wicket. Despite the loss of a couple of late wickets when the win was all but assured, the Thunder eased to victory on 124 for 3 with nine balls to spare.

Thunder's victory takes them to within seven points of third-placed Bears in the Vitality Blast table with four games to play.
