WOMEN'S T20 BLAST ROUNDUP: Danni Wyatt-Hodge struck a 40-ball 65 before Bryony Smith's side got home with a two off the last delivery of the chase
Southampton: Hampshire 155-4, Surrey 156-5 - Surrey won by five wickets
Danni Wyatt-Hodge continued her love-affair with Utilita Bowl as her 65 helped table-toppers Surrey vanquish Hampshire Hawks in a last-ball Women's T20 Blast thriller.
Until her move to Surrey this winter, England star Wyatt-Hodge had made Utilita Bowl her home since 2017 – with both Southern Vipers in the Kia Super League and regional setup, and Southern Brave in The Hundred.
She led a chase of 156 – after Charli Knott had carefully amassed her T20 best of 74 to get Hawks to bang-on par 155 for 4.
Surrey eventually required 11 off the last over, which Paige Schofield and Alice Davidson-Richards managed with a two off the final delivery.

"I'm not a very good watcher of cricket games, but we knew with Paige and ADR out there, we could chase whatever in the final over," said Surrey captain Bryony Smith. "It went to the last ball that wasn't ideal but we'll take the win.
"We thought they were just under par, and we know we can chase anything with this batting line-up.
"Everyone has played a lot of cricket in that batting line-up, and then the players still to come shows we bat all the way down. We knew we were in control, but it got a bit nervy when the boundaries dried up.
"It doesn't matter how you win at the end of the day, you just have to get it done."
