Barbados: England 131-8, West Indies 82 - England win by 49 runs

Scorecard

Lauren Bell claimed career-best figures as England maintained their 100 per cent winning run in the Caribbean with an emphatic victory over West Indies in the fourth T20 international in Barbados.

The Windies sensed a first victory of the tour after restricting Jon Lewis' side to 131 for 8 from their 20 overs.

Cherry-Ann Fraser claimed an international best 3 for 20, all of which came in her opening over, while Sheneta Grimmond took 3 for 33 - her best in T20Is.

Had it not been for Katherine Brunt and Charlie Dean, who were both put down off Fraser, compiling an England-record 45 for the eighth wicket then it might have been a different story.

But as it turned out, they had enough runs to defend on a tired surface which offered assistance for their quality attack.

Bell, returning to the team after missing the third T20I, took two wickets in her opening over as Aaliyah Alleyne and Rashada Williams departed without scoring.

Sophie Ecclestone claimed 2 for 12 to break Poonam Yadav's record for the most T20I wickets in a calendar year, while Dean took her tally for the tour to 16 with two scalps of her own.

Regular wickets and little progress in the chase meant the Windies' innings ended prematurely via the final two deliveries of Bell's third over, as she bowled Grimmond and Schultz in successive balls to claim 4 for 12. The absence of Shabika Gajnabi, unable to bat due to suffering an injury in the field, meant four overs went unbowled.

Having won all three ODIs and the first four T20Is, England can complete a clean sweep of both series if they can win the concluding match of the tour in Barbados on Thursday (December 22).
