Sydney: Hobart Hurricanes 154, Adelaide Strikers 155-2 - Adelaide Strikers won by eight wickets
Tahlia McGrath dominated the Hobart Hurricanes bowling attack as Adelaide Strikers kept their push for a WBBL knockouts place on track with a comfortable victory at the North Sydney Oval.
McGrath, the Australia international allrounder, crashed an unbeaten 93 from 51 balls to steer the Strikers to their 155-run target with eight wickets and 31 balls to spare.
The 27-year-old's best score of the campaign included 12 fours and four sixes. She shared in a second-wicket partnership worth 77 with Katie Mack (29), and an unbroken third-wicket stand of 75 with Deandra Dottin (22*), following the early loss of Laura Wolvaardt (0).

Only Nicola Carey (1-11 from two overs) was spared the brunt of McGrath's attacking intent, as Hobart - who are themselves very much chasing a place in the playoff stages - had no answer to her fireworks.
Earlier, Mignon du Preez delivered a critical contribution as the Hurricanes mustered 154. Hobart were bowled out two balls shy of their full 20-over allocation, with just two players other than du Preez (Lizelle Lee and Ruth Johnston) registering double figures.
Allrounder Jemma Barsby led the way with the ball for Adelaide, returning impressive figures of 3 for 27, including the key wicket of Elyse Villani.
Meanwhile, the result confirmed Sydney Sixers will finish top of the league standings in the 2022 WBBL, sending them straight to the competition's final in Sydney on November 26.
