Fixture: Notts Outlaws v Durham
Venue: Trent Bridge, Nottingham
Date: Sunday, July 18, 2021
Start time: 4pm
What’s the lowdown?
There's little riding on this contest, with Notts Outlaws having already claimed top spot in the North Group and Durham unable to qualify for the quarter-finals.
Notts endured a rare defeat on Friday night, at the hands of lowly Leicestershire Foxes, and will want to end the group rounds on a high.
Durham, who have lost their last four, sit sixth but could finish fifth with a win, should Birmingham Bears lose.
Who's in form?
Notts Outlaws have one of the standout batsmen of the competition so far in Alex Hales, who has 428 runs in the competition in 2021, with two half-centuries and a ton. Hales made a brutal 96 not out in the corresponding fixture at Emirates Riverside earlier in the season.
Of batsmen with more than 100 runs in this year's Blast, no one has a better strike rate than Joe Clarke's 199.41. Clarke has 339 runs in the tournament.
With the ball, Notts are the only county with four players to have taken at least 14 wickets in the competition. Jake Ball has 18 - only Naveen-ul-Haq of Leicestershire has more, while Calvin Harrison, Samit Patel and Matt Carter all have 14.
Durham have found life much tougher in 2021. Their leading runscorer in the Blast is Sean Dickson with 292, while David Bedingham has 275. Both batsmen made half-centuries in defeat by Lancashire Lightning last time out.
What’s the team news?
Ben Duckett dons his domestic shirt again after returning from international duty.
Notts Outlaws: Sol Budinger, Calvin Harrison, Matt Carter, Tom Moores, Zak Chappell, Steven Mullaney, Joe Clarke, Samit Patel, Ben Duckett, Dane Paterson, Joey Evison, Peter Trego, Alex Hales.
Durham have named the same 14-man squad which lost to Lancashire Lightning on Friday evening.
Durham: Graham Clark, Brydon Carse, Alex Lees, Ned Eckersley, David Bedingham, Sean Dickson, Liam Trevaskis, Paul van Meekeren, Luke Doneathy, Harry Crawshaw, Matthew Potts, Ben Raine, Cameron Bancroft, Scott Borthwick

Travel
Address: Trent Bridge, West Bridgford, Nottingham, NG2 6AG
By car: From the south, exit the M1 on Junction 24 (A453) or Junction 25 (A52) and take the signs for West Bridgford or the cricket ground. From the north, take Junction 26 (A610) and follow the signs to West Bridgford or the cricket ground.
There are plenty of parking options around the Lace Market and the Ice Arena in the town centre. There are three car parks surrounding the ground, and two further down the Bridgford Road into West Bridgford itself.
By public transport: Nottingham station is well linked by East Midlands Trains, Cross Country and Northern. There are regular buses from the station to Trent Bridge, and a taxi rank on the northern side of the station, but it is only a 20-minute walk via the A60 - passing the nation's only Hooters - or better still along a saunter the Nottingham Canal up to the Trent Bridge itself – past Meadow Lane (Notts County), the City Ground (Nottingham Forest) and plenty of pubs.
