MEN'S T20 BLAST ROUNDUP: Captain Keaton Jennings rises to the challenge once again with a sublime 95, as part of a 177-run stand with Luke Wells, in a statement win over Notts Outlaws
Old Trafford: Lancashire 216-3, Notts Outlaws 169 - Lancashire won by 47 runs
Lancashire openers Keaton Jennings and Luke Wells shared 177 inside 16 overs - the highest ever partnership for any wicket in the T20 Blast North Group - as Lightning beat Notts Outlaws by 47 runs at Old Trafford.
Having elected to bat, Jennings crashed 95 off 49 balls and Wells 87 off 50 as Lightning totalled 216 for three to set up a second straight win to start their campaign.
The Outlaws, who replied with 169 all out, have now won one, lost one. Less than 24 hours earlier, they conceded 226 for 5 against the Bears at Trent Bridge but chased it easily.
This target was achievable even on a used pitch. But Lancashire returned a polished bowling display, including a superb debut three for 23 from four overs for left-arm spinner Charlie Barnard. Moises Henriques made 60 off 32 balls for Notts.

Edgbaston: Birmingham Bears 143, Durham 147-7 - Durham won by three wickets
Durham launched their T20 Blast campaign with an impressive three-wicket victory over The Bears at Edgbaston.
The Bears were 143 all out from exactly 20 overs after only Sam Hain (45 from 28 balls) came close to salvaging the innings from the wretched foundation of four for three.
Durham bowled superbly as a unit with Jimmy Neesham taking three wickets and Callum Parkinson, Nathan Sowter and Ben Raine two apiece.
Ollie Robinson (45, 36) and Graham Clark (40, 23) then lifted Durham to 147 for 7 with 17 balls to spare to condemn the Bears to back-to-back defeats to start their campaign.
