Punjab Kings have recruited Damien Wright as their bowling coach ahead of the new Indian Premier League season.
The 45-year-old, who replaces Charl Langeveldt, has previously worked with Melbourne Stars, Hobart Hurricanes and Bangladesh Under-19s.
Wright enjoyed a 14-year professional playing career, representing the likes of Tasmania, Northamptonshire, Glamorgan, Victoria, Sussex, Somerset, Wellington and Worcestershire.
He joins a backroom team, led by head coach Anil Kumble, which also includes assistant Andy Flower, batting lead Wasim Jaffer and fielding coach Jonty Rhodes.
"I am delighted to come on board as bowling coach for Punjab Kings," said Wright. "The team looks great and there is tremendous potential in this squad and I look forward to working alongside an amazing support staff team this season of the IPL."
Head coach Anil Kumble added: "We are pleased to announce that Damien Wright will join us as bowling coach at Punjab Kings.
"He brings in a great deal of experience and will definitely help strengthen our team. We look forward to working with him this edition of the IPL."
