The former Australia legspinner has picked three of the biggest names from the T20 game as his desired picks for the inaugural competition
Australia legend Shane Warne has named AB de Villiers, Andre Russell or Rashid Khan as his preferred draft picks for the inaugural Hundred competition.
The 48-year-old was announced on Friday as the head coach of the men's Lord's-based team for the tournament which is scheduled to begin next summer.
The draft for the men's competition is due to take place on Sunday, October 20, but Warne has already revealed to The Hundred's official website his desired picks.
"Any time you've got AB de Villiers, Andre Russell or Rashid Khan then I think you're going to do okay," Warne said.
"And they'll get bums on seats."

The former legspinner has also stated that the strategy at the back end of the innings is already occupying his mind, but remains unsure of the best policy at the moment due to the fact that opening proceedings will also have to be taken into account.
"Do you leave it to the last 10 balls and one guy bowls at the end? Jofra Archer might bowl 10 balls at the end, but does he bowl 10 balls at the start?
"He might take two or three wickets. It would be a case of throwing it around with the players and see what they think about it."
