The Australian duo become the latest backroom appointments for the 100-ball competition scheduled for next summer
Shane Warne and Lisa Keightley have been enlisted as the men's and women's coaches for the Lord's-based team in The Hundred.
The Australian duo are the latest backroom arrivals for the competition which is scheduled to begin next summer.
Warne, 48, is regarded as one of the finest bowlers in cricketing history having amassed over 1001 international wickets.
Though he possesses little coaching experience, he was the player-coach when Rajasthan Royals won the inaugural Indian Premier League in 2008.
“I’m very proud and very honoured to be asked to be the head coach of The Hundred team based at Lord’s," said the former leg-spinner.

"The opportunity to coach in a brand-new tournament and work with modern-day players is something that I will really enjoy and I am looking forward to the challenge.
“This tournament will unearth some heroes and hopefully some future World Cup stars for England and other countries.”
Fellow-Australians Simon Katich and Andrew McDonald have already been confirmed to coach the sides based in Manchester and Birmingham, respectively.
Ricky Ponting is reportedly being lined up for The Oval-based team.
Keightley meanwhile was the first female coach of the Australia women's team and has since led Western Australia and Perth Scorchers in the Women's Big Bash.

The 47-year-old is the first female coach to be appointed for the competition.
“It is an honour to be appointed as the first female coach for The Hundred and to be a part of a tournament that is set to showcase the best women’s players from around the world.
“I thoroughly enjoyed my time as a coach in England and the prestige and opportunity of this role made it an easy decision for me to come back.”
The draft for the men's competition is due to take place on Sunday, October 20 however, the names of each of the competing teams are yet to be confirmed by the England and Wales Cricket Board.
