Pandya's comments about women on Koffee With Karan sparked a furious reaction last week, and the allrounder later apologised for his remarks. The BCCI have issued show-cause notices to both players, asking them to explain what was said
The online streaming site which hosts Koffee With Karan has removed the controversial episode featuring Indian cricketers Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul from public view.
Pandya's comments about women sparked a furious reaction last week, and the allrounder later apologised for his remarks. The BCCI have issued show-cause notices to both players, asking them to explain what was said on the show, and there remains a chance the two men could receive suspensions from their own governing body.
Committee of Administrators chairman Vinod Rai has recommended that the players receive two-match bans.
In the meantime, Hotstar has pulled the show from its online portal.
Broadcaster Star World, which airs Koffee With Karan, has removed all promotional material for the episode from its social media feeds.

During the show, Pandya was asked by host Karan Johar: "Why don’t you ask women’s names at nightclubs?"
"I like to watch and observe how they move. I’m little from the black side so I need to see how they move," he replied.
Virat Kohli, the India captain, has distanced himself and the rest of his squad from Pandya's words.
Ahead of the one-day international series against Australia, Kohli said: "We, definitely, as the Indian cricket team do not support views like that and that has been communicated.
"I can definitely say that as the Indian cricket team and responsible cricketers we definitely don’t align with those views and those are purely individual views."
