The 22-year-old bowling allrounder, who has just one T20I cap to his name, replaces Dwaine Pretorius
Marco Jansen has been called up to South Africa's squad for the 2022 T20 World Cup.
The 22-year-old, initially named among the reserves, replaces Dwaine Pretorius, who fractured his left thumb in the third T20I against India earlier in October.

Jansen, a bowling allrounder, is a relatively inexperienced T20 bowler, taking 17 wickets in 22 T20s. He has made just one T20I appearance for South Africa, picking up 1 for 38 against India in June 2022.
However, he was picked up for Rand 6.9m (£312,000) at the SA20 action in September, indicating the high regard for his talents.
South Africa have been placed in Group 2 in the Super 12s alongside Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and two qualifiers, and will begin their campaign against one of the qualifiers in Hobart on October 24.
