The India left-arm quick has been suffering from a knee injury which will require surgery, after playing just two matches in the tournament
Sunrisers Hyderabad left-arm seamer T Natarajan has been ruled out of the remainder of the Indian Premier League with a knee injury.
The 29-year-old will undergo surgery on the problem, having played just twice during the 2021 edition.
His breakthrough during the tournament in the United Arab Emirates, when he took 16 wickets, eventually yielded an India debut during the winter in Australia.
Natarajan was rested during the England Test series and played in only two of the white-ball matches, but faces another spell on the sidelines.
"I'm sad to miss the remaining games," he said in a video posted via the SH Twitter page.

"Since I played well last season and went on to play for India my expectations were high.
"Unfortunately, I have to undergo knee surgery and will miss this season.
"Thank you to the SRH family - support staff and players. They supported and motivated me a lot. I'm going to miss the SRH family this season.
"I wish Sunrisers to go out and win every game this season."
India are not back in action until June when they take on New Zealand in the World Test Championship final at The Ageas Bowl.
