The India spinner is confident his chance in the 14th edition of the competition will come, despite being overlooked for the first three matches
Kuldeep Yadav has identified Rohit Sharma and AB de Villiers as the two hardest batters to bowl to in the Indian Premier League.
Both players are two of the six highest run-scorers in the history of the franchise competition.
Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma has struck 5,324 runs at an average of 31.31 during his IPL career.
De Villiers, who has been with Royal Challengers Bangalore since 2011, averages 40.77 and is closing in on 5,000 runs in the tournament.
And Kuldeep, who has played 45 IPL matches across the five previous editions, finds the pair an intimidating prospect.
"I find it difficult to bowl against AB de Villiers and Rohit Sharma," the Kolkata Knight Riders spinner told PTI Bhasha. "De Villiers can smash the ball in any corner of the ground, while Rohit has plenty of time."
Kuldeep has had a watching brief for KKR so far in the IPL, having not featured in any of the opening three games.
But the left-armer leggie is unperturbed. "Only three matches have happened so far. I’m hoping to get a place in the final XI soon, and I will perform well."
