Lucknow Super Giants take on Mumbai Indians in the 2023 Indian Premier League.
The match is scheduled to start at 7.30pm local time (3pm BST) on Tuesday, May 16.
The match will be held at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow.
Convincing victories for both of these sides in their last games sets up a fascinating encounter between third and fourth in the IPL standings.
Lucknow Super Giants' big hitting carried them to victory in their last game against Sunrisers Hyderabad. After openers Kyle Mayers and Quinton De Kock struggled to get things moving with the bat as LSG chased SRH's decent total of 182, Prerak Mankad and Marcus Stoinis batted well to get LSG into a position where they might have an improbable chance at winning the game.
Nicholas Pooran came to the crease and hit a magnificent 44* off 13 balls to guide LSG to a much-needed victory after they lost heavily to Gujarat Titans.
Mumbai Indians scored a wonderful 218 in the first innings of their game against league leaders Gujarat Titans. Led by the in-form Suryakumar Yadav, who scored a hugely impressive 103 off just 49 balls, Mumbai took crucial early wickets which meant that even a remarkable late push by Rashid Khan and David Miller was not enough for the Titans.
This is the third time in four games MI scored over 200 in an innings and against LSG they will be looking to extend their winning streak to three games.

There is no fresh injury news ahead of this game.
Seamer Jaydev Unadkat remains injured for LSG and is unlikely to return for the rest of the IPL season.
Chris Jordan, MI's replacement for Jofra Archer, will likely play again in this game.
A key matchup in this game will be MI's spinners against LSG's big-hitting middle order. This essentially won the game for LSG against SRH as Mankad, Stoinis and Pooran looked to hit big against spin.
This was demonstrated in an over bowled by the unfortunate Abhishek Sharma who was smashed for five sixes by Stoinis and Pooran. If Piyush Chawla and Kumar Kartikeya, who bowled well against Titans, are able to remain reasonably economical and take wickets, MI have an excellent chance in this game.

Mumbai Indians' emphatic win over Gujarat Titans will have given them lots of confidence. With Suryakumar Yadav batting so well and surrounded by other excellent batsmen in the top order, they will look to attack LSG's bowling which at times has been loose. MI win.
