Lloyd was a favourite of Sky Sports' cricket coverage for 22 years before departing in 2021. He appeared on Lancs TV's county coverage during 2022 and 2023, but the third Test on TalkSport marked a return to first England coverage for the 76-year-old.

Root & Bairstow Should Be Dropped, Sad To Say Both Are Doing Very Little For The Team Especially Birstow, The Shots ROOT Has Played To Be Dismissed In The Last 2 Games Can Not Be Deffended, We Could Actually Have Won The 2nd Test, If He Hadnt Have Played Such a Pointless, Reckless Shot....New Blood Needed.
