Another week has been crossed off the cricketing calendar and it's time again to look at who's been having a whale of a time, and who's probably feeling a little bit miffed...
Shimron Hetmyer
The opening Test between the West Indies and England has both shown viewers things they already knew, and things they possibly didn’t know.
They already knew that England’s top order were brittle, that's been proven time and time again, but they might not have known just how fun it is to watch Shimron Hetmyer bat.
There is a style to his shots and a relaxed manner about him at the crease which is magnetic. He might upset those who want to see watchful, respectful batting, but he brings something different to the occasion.
His stock has been rising fast since his heroic performances for the Guyana Amazon Warriors at the 2018 CPL, and he is definitely one to watch at the upcoming World Cup.
James Vince
It has been a week of ups for Hampshire captain James Vince. On Sunday he hit 75 off 46 for the Sydney Sixers as they hammered the Brisbane Heat in the Big Bash.
That was followed on Tuesday by Hampshire announcing that he had signed a new four-year contract with them.
The day after that he pounded 74 against the Hobart Hurricanes as the Sixers became only the second side to beat the league-leaders this season.
England’s ODI batting lineup looks pretty set ahead of the World Cup, but if Vince can continue that sort of form, he may find himself adding to the six ODIs he has managed so far in his career.

Hardik Pandya
After enjoying a pretty terrible couple of weeks, we had to include Pandya because things seem to be going his way again.
On Thursday, the BCCI announced that they had lifted both his and KL Rahul’s suspensions for controversial comments they had made on popular Indian talk show Koffee with Karan.
This was quickly followed by news that he had joined the India squad out in New Zealand, where they are currently playing an ODI series.
While this lifting of the suspension is actually still subject to the appointment of an ombudsman by the Supreme Court who will then impose a sanction on Pandya and Rahul, things have definitely improved for the pair.
Sarfraz Ahmed
I do not have a modicum of sympathy for the Pakistan captain after he was caught making a racist remark to South Africa allrounder Andile Phehlukwayo during an ODI between the two teams on Wednesday.
A stump mic picked up him saying to Phehlukwayo in Urdu: “Abey kaale, teri ammi aaj kahaan baitheen hain? Kya parwa ke aaye hai aaj?”
This translates as: “Hey black guy, where's your mother sitting today? What (prayer) have you got her to say for you today?”
Though South Africa captain Faf du Plessis has said that he and his squad have forgiven Sarfraz after he apologised, that is unlikely to have any effect on what sanction the ICC impose on him.
Stuart Broad
It really has not gone Broady’s way this week.
First, there were rumours that he had been forced to change rooms at the hotel England are stying in after finding a number of bed-bug bites in a rather…sensitive area - and then he was dropped from the team.
This could be the sign the Broad’s Test career might be coming to an end, but the fact that his new-ball replacement Sam Curran has not done particularly well in the first Test may have improved his spirits.
Considering how badly things have gone for England without him in the team, it would not be a surprise to see him come back into the side for the second Test.

Olly Stone
Having had a fantastic 2018 playing for Warwickshire in Division Two, taking 43 wickets at an average of 12.20 (!!) and bowling with serious pace, there were hopes that Stone might finally be fulfilling the promise he showed as a youngster at Northants.
The selection fo the England Test side for their tour of Sri Lanka followed, but alas, as seems to happen to all fast bowlers, it was confirmed on Wednesday that he had suffered a back stress fracture.
This is not the first injury that Stone has suffered during his career. That brilliant 2018 was preceded by a long recovery from an ACL, and one can only hope that Stone is able to come back as strongly as he did from that injury.
