COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP DIVISION TWO ROUNDUP: Derbyshire continue an encouraging start to the season, while a trio of half-centuries keep the Running Foxes competitive
Bristol (day two of four): Gloucestershire 252 & 88-2, Leicestershire 262 - Gloucestershire are 78 runs ahead with eight second-innings wickets remaining
Dom Goodman's maiden first-class five-wicket haul inspired a Gloucestershire fightback on a fluctuating day two of the County Championship Second Division match with Leicestershire at Bristol.
Shortly after lunch, Division Two's early-season pace-setters Leicestershire looked well placed to post a sizeable first innings lead against Gloucestershire. Having reached 200 for 5 in response to the hosts' first innings total of 252, the visitors looked well in command, if perhaps not fully in control.
The Gloucestershire pace attack would have been legitimately scratching their heads at the lunch interval, having only managed to pick up one wicket during a morning session in which they beat the bat with almost comedic regularity.

Derby (day two of four): Derbyshire 472, Middlesex 101-3 - Middlesex are 371 runs behind with seven first-innings wickets remaining
Martin Andersson gave his former teammates a big reminder of his qualities with a career-best century to put Derbyshire firmly in control of the County Championship Division Two match against Middlesex at Derby.
The ex-Middlesex allrounder scored 107 and shared a county record sixth wicket stand of 148 with Luis Reece, who made 60 to lift Derbyshire to 472 all out.
Andersson’s memorable day continued when he took a catch and then had Stephen Eskinaz caught behind before Blair Tickner claimed his second wicket to leave the visitors on 101 for 3, 371 runs behind.
