Where on earth to start!?!? I think the words “Richard Gould has previously said” should probably be one of the great caveats of our time. The time of expecting honesty, working for the common good or cricket as a sport has long gone. It is all about money and no principle is important enough to stand in its way.

Of course it's the hundred. The ECB wouldn't want any revenue going directly to a county would they ?!

Thought the players were complaining of to much cricket! Who in their right mind would propose a tournament to be based in England in Sept/Oct?

What a joke - the ECB take up the whole of August with the Hundred and now sides have to lose their players in September too for another competition. All at a time where they are arguing for a reduction in County Cricket... Surely the counties should have a say in what team represents England - whether that is Blast or Hundred. How can a Hundred side represent in a different format. Another nail in the coffin of non-test counties
