The 23-year-old leg-spinner joins the three-time champions as an injury replacement for Steve O’Keefe and Ben Manenti
Sydney Sixers have signed Shadab Khan for the remainder of the 2021-22 Big Bash.
The Pakistan leg-spinner joins the three-time champions as an injury replacement for Ben Manenti and Steve O’Keefe. Manenti has suffered a season-ending neck stress fracture while O’Keefe has a calf strain.

The 23-year-old has previously represented Brisbane Heat in the Big Bash, taking six wickets in three appearances in 2017-18, while with the bat, he offers a T20 career strike rate of 133.36 and an average of 18.03.

Sydney Sixers head coach, Greg Shipperd, said: "Shadab joins us as cover for the bowlers we have lost and comes together with two other young and exciting spinners in Lloyd Pope and Todd Murphy.
"All three young men are still learning their craft but have shown at various levels that they can be world class.
"We welcome Shadab’s skills in all three facets of the game and can’t wait to see him get an opportunity in coming matches."
