Hobart Hurricanes take on Melbourne Stars in match 35 of BBL12, the 12th edition of the tournament.
The game is scheduled to start at 7.15pm local time (8.15am GMT) on Monday, January 9.
The game is being played in Hobart at the Blundstone Arena.
Melbourne Stars remain at the foot of the table after winning just two matches from a possible eight. They were, however, unlucky not to take points away from their clash with Sydney Sixers on Friday, losing by six wickets with one ball remaining after failing to defend 173.
On the plus side, Hobart Hurricanes are one of the two sides they've beaten this season, recording a 38-run win in the opening week of the season thanks to a Joe Clarke century and three wickets apiece for Adam Zampa and Luke Wood.
Speaking of the Hurricanes, their season is hardly going much better: they sit two points above the Stars in sixth after winning three matches from eight. After alternating between winning and losing for the first six matches, the Tasmania-based side are now on a two-match losing streak.
All three of their wins have come on home soil in BBL12, which bodes well for this clash.

When the two sides met at the MCG earlier in December, Melbourne Stars did a fantastic job of keeping an explosive batting line-up quiet.
Wood, Zampa, Beau Webster and Nathan Coulter-Nile all conceded fewer than seven runs per over - Webster's economy was 5.25 - with the former pair sharing six wickets.
The question is, can they do it again? The Hurricanes will be without Matthew Wade for this clash but Zak Crawley (who scored a half-century on debut), Tim David, Caleb Jewell and Ben McDermott are all scoring at rates in excess of 150.
And the Stars attack is certainly vulnerable against this type of batting, as James Vince (91 off 59) proved on Friday.
Cool and damp, with temperatures touching 17 degrees Celsius around the start of play. There is a good chance of rain before and during the game.
Trent Boult's time with Melbourne Stars is over; he is switching to the ILT20 in the UAE. Marcus Stoinis has been ruled out of the clash with a low-grade hamstring strain.
Wade will miss this clash, with Nathan Ellis stepping in as Hurricanes captain. Tom Andrews comes into the squad as a local replacement for Billy Stanlake, who has been ruled out of the remainder of the tournament with a hamstring injury.
