Jonny Bairstow will feature for Yorkshire in their next two Bob Willis Trophy matches.
Head coach Andrew Gale confirmed on Tuesday that the England international is due to link up with his country at the end of the ongoing ODI series against Ireland.
Bairstow will also take the gloves for the White Rose, as he bids to prove to England's selectors that he deserves another chance in the Test side.
Gale will also hold a conversation with David Willey over the possibility of the allrounder playing red-ball cricket at the conclusion of the Ireland campaign.
Willey has been in good form for England, but there are question marks over the amount of red-ball practice he would get ahead of an appearance in the Bob Willis Trophy.
Duanne Olivier, the South African pace bowler, will be available for selection for the trip to Trent Bridge to play Nottinghamshire from Saturday.
Yorkshire got their competitive summer off to a winning start on Tuesday with defeat of Durham.
“I thought it was a very professional performance. From ball one, we were relentless with the ball and patient," Gale said.
