Ravindra Jadeja took 37 runs off the final over of Chennai Super Kings’ innings against Royal Challengers Bangalore in a remarkable display of hitting.

The fifth delivery garnered two runs, with the sixth going for a fifth six and the seventh – making up for the earlier no ball – being struck for four. Having been 154 for 4 going into the final over, CSK ended with a total of 191.
Jadeja had earlier been dropped before getting off the mark, with Dan Christian shelling an opportunity off the bowling of Washington Sundar.
Despite the late carnage, however, Patel extended his lead at the top of the tournament’s wicket-taking stakes, dismissing Faf du Plessis, Suresh Raina and Ambati Rayudu before succumbing to the magic of Jadeja.
