Jonny Bairstow, Moeen Ali and Harry Gurney have all been retained ahead of next year's Indian Premier League.

Sunrisers Hyderabad have opted to keep hold of Yorkshireman Bairstow after he scored 445 runs during last year's competition.

With 220 runs and six wickets, Moeen Ali has been kept on by Royal Challengers Bangalore, while Harry Gurney remains with Kolkata Knight Riders.

But it is bad news for Sam Curran, who after joining Kings XI Punjab for £800,000 last year returned just 10 wickets at 32.30 and has been dismissed after just a single campaign.

Fellow left-armer David Willey and Sam Billings have been ditched by Chennai Super Kings and Joe Denly is no longer needed by KKR after just one appearance in 2019.

Liam Livingstone has been offloaded by Rajasthan Royals who have retained England trio Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler and Jofa Archer.

Meanwhile, Varun Chakravarthy is not required by Kings XI, who have also offloaded Australia pair Andrew Tye and Moise Henriques.

Reigning champions Mumbai Indians have seen fit to get rid of Yuvraj Singh, West Indian Evin Lewis and injured Aussie seamer Jason Behrendorff, while Delhi Capitals have allowed Chris Morris and Colin Ingram to depart.

All released played plus any other unattached stars will be hoping to win a berth in next year's IPL during the draft which is scheduled for December 18.
