India have a World Cup injury worry in the shape of Bhuvneshwar Kumar after the seamer was forced off the field mid-over during his side's clash with Pakistan.

Kumar pulled up during the fifth over of the Pakistan chase, immediately feeling for his hamstring.

After a conversation with his team-mates, he left the pitch for assessment, with Vijay Shankar completing his over.

Remarkably, Shankar took the wicket of Imam-ul-Haq with his first delivery, before Kumar had even managed to climb the stairs to the India dressing room for treatment.

It was later confirmed that the bowler was suffering from tightness in his left hamstring, and that he would take no further part in the match.

Pakistan were left to chase 338 for victory at Old Trafford after Rohit Sharma hit a magnificent century.

Sharma's 140 was the bedrock of the India innings, during which KL Rahul and Virat Kohli both passed fifty.
