Hampshire have announced that Jimmy Adams and Alfonso Thomas have joined the club as assistant coaches to new head coach Adrian Birrell.
Former Hampshire captain Adams retired from playing at the end of the 2018 season having made 491 appearances across all formats for the county, and will work take charge of Hampshire's second XI.
Thomas, who played for Somerset for eight seasons, will focus on coaching the county's bowling attack.

Adams said: "I shared some great experiences here at Hampshire during my playing career and I’m really excited about the opportunity to continue contributing in a coaching capacity alongside Adi, Alfonso and the rest of the group."
Thomas added: "I'm very excited to be joining such a successful club and talented group of players.
"I'm really looking forward to getting to know the guys and joining up with Adi, Jimmy and Giles during pre-season and can’t wait to get started ahead of the new season."
