The floppy, the cap, the helmet... Vote for which headgear is best worn when batting!

A defining feature of Glenn Maxwell's match-winning century against India was the fact that he did much of it while not wearing a helmet. Is this a good look? It's time we decided and it's time to vote for the best headgear to wear when batting...

Grew up in the 70's watching the swagger of Viv at the crease with his customary maroon cap of the West Indies - played throughout the 80's myself and wore our club cap with pride as player and captain. Now in my 50's still love watching cricket but only rarely see the helmet being removed which makes my heart glow as you then really see the true character and personality of the batsmen. So for me it has to be the cap and wish more could follow!

The safest to wear when batting is the helmet. You don't want to get your head smashed just to look good.

Just seen this article - I believe this is in poor taste considering the recent death of Phil Hughes , the work undertaken to improve safety and the need to protect young players. A silly question
