The Sussex seamer underwent a fitness test before play at Lord's to determine whether he could feature in the World Cup group game
England will have Jofra Archer available to face Australia despite him having a late fitness test before the World Cup clash at Lord's.
The 24-year-old was suffering from a side problem which meant he could not field or train on the eve of the game on Monday.
Liam Plunkett or Tom Curran were waiting in the wings but Archer has come through the assessment and will feature at the home of cricket, a game which follows the 20-run defeat to Sri Lanka at Headingley.
Jason Roy has already been ruled out of the game due to a hamstring tear but is in contention to return in time to face India next week.
Hosts and pre-tournament favourites England are fourth in the group on eight points knowing victory in two of their last three matches will all-but assure them a last-four spot.
