ONE-DAY CUP ESSENTIALS: All you need to know about Sunday's games

The Royal London One-Day Cup continues with eight more fixtures on Sunday and The Cricketer has all the information you need

North Group

Leicestershire v Yorkshire

Where: Fischer County Ground, Grace Road

When: Sunday May 27, 11.00am BST start

Team news: Gary Ballance comes back into the squad after being granted some time away from the game by Yorkshire last week. Kyle Carver also comes in. Leicestershire are hoping Cameron Delport will be able to feature after his spell with Kolkata Knight Riders has come to an end.

Form: Both teams have won just once in this year's competition. Yorkshire's last fixture was a washout against Notts while the Foxes lost to Derbyshire by five runs.

In 2017, Yorkshire defeated Leicestershire at Headingley thanks to a quick 50 from Azeem Rafiq in a low scoring affair.

Northamptonshire v Durham

Where: The County Ground, Northampton

When: Sunday May 27, 11.00am BST start

Team news: To follow.

Form: Durham are rock bottom, having won one and lost three. Northants sit in fourth having beaten Notts and Lancashire in their last two outings.

Durham got the better of Nothamptonshire in the Royal London One-Day Cup in 2017 as they won by 19 runs with Keaton Jennings scoring 101.

Nottinghamshire v Warwickshire

Where: Trent Bridge

When: Sunday May 27, 11.00am BST start

Team news: The Bears are boosted by the return of England allrounder Chris Woakes.

Form: Last year's white-ball kings are second as it stands and the batting clicked in their last fixture, putting on 409-7 against Leicestershire in a 93-run victory. Warwickshire are seventh having won one and lost two.

Notts won a thriller by 10 runs against Warwickshire last season in the Royal London One-Day Cup with Billy Root scoring 107 not out at Edgbaston.

Worcestershire v Lancashire

Where: Blackfinch New Road

When: Sunday May 27, 11.00am BST start

Team news: Tom Bailey is back in the Lancashire squad and Moeen Ali returns for Worcestershire.

Form: On Friday Worcestershire lost their first match of the campaign to Durham on DLS. Lancashire have one win to their name from four matches with one no result.

South Group

Essex v Surrey

Where: The Cloudfm County Ground, Chelmsford

When: Sunday May 27, 11.00am BST start

Team news: Essex have named a unchanged squad from the team that beat Somerset by 40 runs on Friday. Surrey are also unchanged meaning Jason Roy should be at the top of the order.

Form: Varun Chopra hit a magnificent 160 in that victory over Somerset, Essex's second of the competition. After losing their first two games Surrey defeated Gloucestershire by six wickets with Will Jacks hitting a maiden hundred for the club.

In the corresponding fixture in the Royal London One-Day Cup in 2017, Essex won a nervy contest by just one wicket, chasing down 210 with just four balls remaining.

Gloucestershire v Sussex

Where: The Brightside Ground, Bristol

When: Sunday May 27, 11.00am BST start

Team news: Jofra Archer is in line for his first Sussex appearance of the season after returning from the IPL.

Form: Both sides have two in the win column. Sussex suffered a 74-run loss to Middlesex on Friday while Gloucestershire's fixture with Hampshire abandoned without a ball bowled.

In 2017, the fixture between the two sides at The Saffrons in Eastbourne was won by Gloucestershire, by six wickets, with Chris Liddle taking 5-52.

Hampshire v Kent

Where: Ageas Bowl

When: Sunday May 27, 11.00am BST start

Team news: Hampshire will be without Hashim Amla, he is replaced by Sean Ervine. Kent have no new absentees but Harry Podmore and Imran Qayyum are available if they opt to change the XI.

Form: Hampshire lead the way, winning three of four (one no result). Rilee Roussow has scored 201 runs at 67 in so far. Kent got their first win on Friday with Joe Denly smashing 150 not out in a four-wicket win over Glamorgan.

In 2017, Hampshire defeated Kent by six wickets at St Lawrence Ground in Canterbury with Tom Alsop scoring an unbeaten 112.

Somerset v Middlesex

Where: The Cooper Associates County Ground, Taunton

When: Sunday May 27, 11.00am BST start

Team news: Middlesex name an unchanged 15 while Somerset are without Jack Leach (thumb), Tom Abell (finger), Dom Bess (England duty) and Josh Davey (quad). Lewis Gregory is back in contention for the hosts.

Form: Middlesex sit one place behind Hampshire having won three out of four. Paul Sitrling has hit 270 runs at 67.50 in those four matches. Somerset have won two, lost two, with James Hildreth producing 305 runs at 101.67.

In 2017, the Royal London One-Day Cup match between the two teams was abandoned.
