Hazlewood pulls out of Australia's ODI tour of England, joining injured Cummins and Starc

Australia will be without all three of their frontline seam bowlers for the one-day international tour of England this summer.

Josh Hazlewood pulled out of the trip on Monday, joining Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins on the sidelines.

Hazlewood is suffering from a bone stress injury in his lower back and will be unable to feature for the Aussies in the five-match ODI series.

His place in the squad will be taken by Michael Neser, the 28-year-old Queensland seamer who is yet to make his international debut.

"Josh has been managing some low level bone stress in his lumbar spine for a short period," said Cricket Australia physiotherapist David Beakley.

"He had a repeat scan today and although it has not progressed to a fracture he is starting to experience some lower back pain.

"As such, we are taking a conservative approach and he will not travel to England for the one-day series."

Cummins had previously been ruled out by a back injury which caused him to miss the IPL season, while Starc has a leg problem.

The first clash with England is scheduled for Wednesday, June 13 at the Kia Oval.

Mitchell Marsh is also absent through injury, while Steve Smith and David Warner are banned as a result of the ball-tampering incident in South Africa in March.
