Australian seamers enjoyed a dominant day at the Adelaide Oval as England were beaten by three wickets
Josh Hazlewood has received praise from Pat Cummins
Pat Cummins put in a man-of-the-match display to help Australia destroy England's top order in Adelaide, then said his new-ball partner Josh Hazlewood is the best one-day bowler in the world.
Cummins' figures of 4-24 were a major reason England failed to reach 200 at the Adelaide Oval, and had it not been for Chris Woakes it could have been a lot worse for the tourists, who at one point were teetering on the edge of catastrophe at eight for five.
Despite his heroics, though, Cummins was quick to pick out the performance of Hazlewood, who finished with 3-39 in England's first-innings 196 all out.
"He is just about the best bowler in the world in ODIs," he said.
"He lands it on the dime every ball with a bit of movement, you know what you're going to get from him."
Australia's win provided some consolation after series defeat was confirmed in Sydney five days earlier.

"Obviously it was a tough few games to start the series so it was good to start off well here," said Cummins.
"I think the wicket here has been brilliant the last couple of years, it always feels like we've got some pace and bounce and it swung around a bit early - a great wicket.
"At the start of the summer I was just thinking about getting ready for the Test at the Gabba and not too much else. To have played through all of the games and not worry about my body, have the ball come out well and have had some success is great."
Aussie captain Steve Smith, meanwhile, was disappointed with his batsmen, with the exception of Travis Head, who made 96 to lead the hosts to victory.
"It's nice to get over the line in the end, it was a pretty ordinary batting display really apart from Heady, who batted really well," Smith said.
"The rest of us probably need to have a good, hard look at ourselves and start scoring some more runs and help this team win some games."
