The Cricketer has teamed up with Kia to give two club sides the chance to follow in their heroes’ footsteps and play on the hallowed turf of the world-famous Kia Oval.
This will be a truly memorable day, with players treated like superstars by the wonderful staff at Surrey CCC.
You will have the chance to create your own history on this celebrated ground that has seen so many unforgettable England triumphs over the years.
Furthermore, the winning sides will get the chance to enjoy a behind-the-scenes tour AND a net session with members of the England Women's team.
The competition has been inspired by Kia’s global marketing campaign, ‘The Power to Surprise’.
To enter, simply tell us why your club has the ‘power to surprise’ - from expanding a junior section from 10 players to 100 in a year, to an army of volunteers sandbagging a ground to prevent flooding, and all stops in between.
We want your stories that showcase the unique and glorious spirit of club cricket and its eternal ‘power to surprise.’
Closing deadline for entries is Friday, August 31, 2018. Teams should be available to play at the Kia Oval on Wednesday , September 19, 2018.
