Australian duo Katie Mack and Georgia Voll have signed for women's regional side Thunder.

Mack, 30, will be available in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy in April and May, and again in August and September.

Voll, meanwhile, will join up with the squad for the Charlotte Edwards Cup and also be available for four 50-over matches in June and July.

Mack is a top-order batter, who has scored over 3,000 runs and averages 37.63 across her List A career. She was the third-highest run-scorer in the 2023/24 Women's National Cricket League, with 471 runs at 47.10, including an unbeaten century and three fifties, for Australian Capital Territory.

Allrounder Voll, who can bat anywhere in the top six and bowls right-arm off-spin, also enjoyed a prolific WNCL campaign, scoring 459 runs, including two centuries, while opening the batting for Queensland.

Over the course of her career, the 20-year-old has scored over 1,200 runs and taken 18 wickets in 42 50-over matches and a further 903 runs (109.18 strike) and 10 wickets in 58 T20 outings.

"Strengthening the depth of our batting department was a key priority for us when going into the market for overseas signings this summer and we are delighted to have been able to do so across both competitions," said Thunder head coach, Chris Read.

"Katie will bring a huge amount of experience to our squad, has a proven track record in 50-over cricket and is also coming off the back of a really successful WBBL campaign for herself.

"Georgia is a hugely talented young cricketer, who has already shown her abilities in the WBBL, and we are excited to see how she goes in the Charlotte Edwards Cup and also in the four 50-over matches that will follow."
