The former England international, who replaces Trevor Griffin, will lead Sunrisers in the Charlotte Edwards Cup and Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy this summer
Sunrisers have appointed former England international Laura Marsh as their interim coach following the departure of Trevor Griffin earlier this month.
Marsh, a three-format England international with 217 wickets in 179 appearances, will lead the team into their Charlotte Edwards Cup and Rachel Heyhoe Flint Trophy campaigns this summer. She will be assisted by Marc Broom, Luke Pomfret, and Vince Wells.
Sunrisers' regional director of women's cricket, Danni Warren, said: "We are incredibly fortunate to have been able to work with Laura to bring her in to this role.
"Laura has a brilliant relationship with our players and support staff and truly embodies our Sunrisers values. I would like to personally thank Laura for embracing this opportunity and cannot wait to see her and the players showcase their talents over the summer."

World Cup and Ashes winner Marsh added: "I am really excited to take on this role and have the opportunity to work with and develop an exciting group of players."
Marsh inherits a tough job from Griffin. Under his leadership, Sunrisers failed to win a single match in the 2020 Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy before showing flashes of improvement in 2021.
Though they once again failed to win a match in the 50-over competition, they nearly upset two-time champions Southern Vipers and were only bowled out for under 200 on two occasions. In the Charlotte Edwards Cup, meanwhile, they won one of their six matches, beating Western Storm by seven wickets, and also tied a game with Thunder.
Griffin departed the Sunrisers on April 6 when he was released from his contract due to "personal reasons".
