England openers Danni Wyatt, Tammy Beaumont and Lauren Winfield-Hill are among 10 overseas players who have signed up to take part in three exhibition matches next week during the Pakistan Super League.

The games – scheduled for March 8, 10 and 11 – are part of a soft launch ahead of the inaugural Pakistan Women's League, which is set to take place for the first time in September, though a PCB statement describes those plans as "tentative".

Winfield-Hill and Beaumont will both feature for the Amazons team, which is to be captained by Bismah Maroof, who recently stood down as Pakistan skipper, while Wyatt is among the big names set to represent Nida Dar's Super Women side.

Fellow England international Maia Bouchier has also signed up, while South Africa star Laura Wolvaardt, a surprise omission at the Women's Premier League auction, and Sri Lanka captain Chamari Athapaththu are also involved after excellent T20 World Cup campaigns.

They will join 20 Pakistani players, four of whom featured at this year's Under-19 World Cup. The teams can only field four overseas players in their line-up.
