The Proteas' captain and vice-captain had both missed October's trip to India due to injury
South Africa have named a full-strength side for a three-match women's ODI series in New Zealand later this month.
Captain Dane van Niekerk returns to the 15-strong squad after missing October's white-ball trip to India due to injury, while her regular deputy Chloe Tryon has also been cleared to make the journey after knee surgery.
Van Niekerk had suffered a stress fracture in her right leg while playing against Sri Lanka in February, with Sune Luus appointed as interim captain as Tryon was sidelined with a separate groin injury.
This means van Niekerk could be playing her first Proteas game in over 11 months when the series opens in Auckland on January 25.
Cricket South Africa has also confirmed that core seamers Marizanne Kapp and Ayabonga Khaka are both fully fit, having struggled with injuries of their own during the 3-0 loss in India in October.
Lara Goodall and Tazmin Brits are the two players to make way from that series, though seamer Masabata Klaas has also been recalled to the squad after eight months out to expand the side to 15 players.
The ODI leg of the series will be followed by five international T20 games ahead of the Women's T20 World Cup, which kicks off in Australia on February 21, however a squad for that format has yet to be announced.
