The Cricketer reviews the best of the action from the latest round of the T20 competition in 2024
Northampton: Northern Diamonds 123-8, Sunrisers 126-6 - Sunrisers win by six wickets
Grace Scrivens played a captain's knock of 64 not out to power Sunrisers to a final-ball victory over Northern Diamonds in this Charlotte Edwards Cup clash at Wantage Road.
Chasing just 124 to win on a slow surface, Sunrisers were behind the run rate from the start, losing six wickets along the way, leaving Scrivens to play a lone hand.
She went into the final over, bowled by Erin Burns, needing 11 to win and took two boundaries off the first five deliveries, one a reverse sweep and the other a heave through backward square leg. It left Sunrisers needing two off the last ball to win which Scrivens cooly smashed down the ground for four.
Kia Oval: Southern Vipers 142-6, South East Stars 146-4 - South East Stars win by six wickets
Leg-spinner Dani Gregory demolished Southern Vipers' middle order as South East Stars triumphed by six wickets at the Kia Oval to cement their status as Charlotte Edwards Cup front-runners.
Gregory's spell of 3 for 23 reduced the defending champions to 73 for 6 before Alice Monaghan (44) and Rhianna Southby (25) counterattacked with an unbroken partnership of 69 from 50.
That enabled Vipers to post 142 for 6, but their total was not enough as Paige Scholfield (50) and Sophia Dunkley both struck half centuries to usher Stars over the finish line with 11 balls to spare.
Dunkley (53) was caught attempting to hit the winning runs, but Phoebe Franklin secured Stars' fourth victory in five games, while Vipers now face a battle to qualify for the knockout stage.

Old Trafford: Thunder 111-9, The Blaze 112-3 - The Blaze win by seven wickets
Kirstie Gordon took five for 12 and Sophie Bryce completed four stumpings as Blaze maintained their 100 per cent record in the Charlotte Edwards Cup with a seven-wicket victory over Lancashire Thunder at Emirates Old Trafford.
Slow left-armer Gordon's fine bowling and Bryce's sharp work behind the stumps restricted Thunder to 111 for 9 on a pitch that was being used for its fourth T20 match in as many days and this total proved to be no sort of target for a Blaze team featuring the England opener, Tammy Beaumont.
Beaumont made 34 not out and overshadowed her England colleagues Kate Cross and Sophie Ecclestone as Blaze strolled home with 4.2 overs to spare.
