Kraigg Brathwaite makes a dogged 160 to frustrate the tourists as Jack Leach claims 3 for 118
Kensington Oval: England 507-9d & 40-0, West Indies 411
West Indies and England are heading for a draw in the second Test in Barbados after a turgid fourth day at Kensington Oval.
Of the two sides, it is the tourists who hold the faint chance of victory heading into day five.
After bowling out the Windies for 411, securing a lead of 96, England closed on 40 for 0 to extend that to 136.
Jack Leach claimed 3 for 118 from 69.5 overs, the 10th most delivered by an England bowler in a Test innings and most in the Caribbean for 49 years.
Kraigg Brathwaite represented a near-impenetrable wall that Joe Root's side struggled to break down.
His second-best Test score of 160 was made off 489 balls - a strike-rate of 32.71 - across 710 minutes.
It took the delivery of the day to oust him from the crease, a ball from Leach which gripped and careered into off-stump.

There was a belated maiden Test wicket for Saqib Mahmood, who got Jason Holder (12) before adding Veerasammy Permaul (5) with a ball that nipped back.
Ben Stokes and Chris Woakes also got in on the act but it was a marathon effort across 187.5 overs from an attack which is virtually third-choice.
Leach wrapped up the innings by trapping Joshua da Silva (33) lbw after another resilient knock, soaking up 112 deliveries.
England could ill-afford to reflect on near two full days in the field and quicked turned their attention to adding to their lead.
Zak Crawley escaped being dismissed courtesy of DRS after being given out lbw off Kemar Roach and he and Alex Lees put on an unbeaten 40 partnership before bad light curtailed played with two overs still to be bowled.
The away side will be targetting some quick runs on the fifth and final morning before embarking on trying to bowl out West Indies for a second time.
However, with just 19 wickets having fallen across four days and the pitch, though showing signs of turn, still holding together, there is a strong prospect of both sides heading to Grenada for the third Test with the series all square.
