WATCH: Sam Curran delivers England's most expensive T20I over since Stuart Broad as Rovman Powell takes aim

The left-armer is hit for 30 runs off his second over, conceeding one four and four sixes, as the West Indies captain pushed the hosts towards an imposing total in Grenada

Sam Curran's varied tour of the Caribbean continued after he conceded 30 runs from a single over in the second T20I against West Indies at St George's.

Rovman Powell struck one four and four sixes from the left-armer's second and final over of the match as the hosts pushed towards setting an imposing target.

The string of boundaries were compounded by two wides, but he finished the over by dismissing the Windies captain as Harry Brook took an outstanding diving catch on the boundary.

It was the second-most expensive over delivered by an England man - only behind the 36 conceded by Stuart Broad when Yuvraj Singh hammered six consecutive maximums during the 2007 T20 World Cup in Durham.

Watch how the over unfolded here:

Curran responded in the England chase with a maiden T20I fifty, bringing up the landmark in 31 deliveries before perishing at the hands of Alzarri Joseph the very next ball.

It continues an eventful tour for the Surrey allrounder, who returned 0 for 98 in the first ODI in Antigua - the most expensive figures by an Englishman in the format.

But he returned with a vengeance, taking 3 for 33 as the tourists squared the series in the second ODI, dismissing Keacy Carty, Brandon King and Shimron Hetmyer inside the powerplay.

I'm a West Indian and as much as I enjoyed seeing that, I still believe England is a better team.

Yeah, that's awesome by the skipper.
