Teenagers Djenaba Joseph and Trishan Holder have been called up to West Indies' senior squad for the T20I series against England.

The five-match series, which begins on Sunday evening after England whitewashed the hosts in the preceding ODIs, is the teams' final chance to prepare ahead of February's T20 World Cup.

Joseph and Holder are both members of West Indies' under-19 squad, with the Under-19 World Cup taking place in January.

"With some of the senior players missing out through injury, it is an ideal opportunity for the other players to start cementing a place in the World Cup team," said lead selector Ann Browne-John:

She added that Joseph and Holder "have been making great progress, have been named to the squad and we believe that they will fit in well and absorb the experience".

Thee five-match series begins on December 11, with the next four games taking place between December 14 and December 22.

West Indies squad: Hayley Matthews, Shemaine Campbelle, Aaliyah Alleyne, Afy Fletcher, Cherry Ann Fraser, Shabika Gajnabi, Sheneta Grimmond, Chinelle Henry, Trishan Holder, Djenaba Joseph, Kycia Knight, Karishma Ramharack, Kaysia Schultz, Rashada Williams
