Welsh Fire have signed up Luke Fletcher as an injury replacement for Nottinghamshire teammate Jake Ball, who has been ruled out of the rest of the competition.

England quick Ball left the field during the defeat to Manchester Originals on Saturday (July 31) and missed the clash with Oval Invincibles.

He will play no further part in the tournament.

Fletcher, who has 99 T20 wickets in 88 matches, is available for the final four matches against Trent Rockets, Birmingham Phoenix, Southern Brave and London Spirit.

The move is the latest change to a Fire squad that has already lost Jonny Bairstow to England, Liam Plunkett to injury and Lungi Ngidi.
