A host of overseas superstars will be up for grabs in the 2023 Hundred draft after the player list for both men's and women's competitions was confirmed by the ECB.

The Pakistan trio of Mohammad Rizwan, Shaheen Afridi and Babar Azam have all entered their names into the hat for the tournament, while Australians Marcus Stoinis and Adam Zampa and New Zealand's Kane Williamson also feature.

In the women's list, leading players available to the eight teams include Harmanpreet Kaur and Jemimah Rodrigues of India, South Africa's Laura Wolvaardt and Sophie Devine of New Zealand.

English players without a club, and who will be in demand during the draft process, include Ben Duckett, Danni Wyatt, Sophia Dunkley, Sarah Glenn, Reece Topley and Kate Cross.

There is an Indian man in the process - albeit Robin Uthappa, who has retired from international cricket and as such does not risk being withdrawn by the BCCI. In addition to Kaur, prominent Indian women available in the draft include Jemimah Rodrigues and Deepti Sharma.

The drafts for both men's and women's competitions will take place on March 23. As reported by The Cricketer, it will be shown live on television, with Sky Sports News carrying coverage.

So far, recruitment for the men's tournament has focused on those available for longest, with T20I and ODI series involving South Africa and Australia, and the Caribbean Premier League which takes away many West Indies stars set to overlap with The Hundred.

Most teams in the men's competition have the minimum three places to fill at the draft, having done most of their work in the retention window. Welsh Fire, who finished bottom of the table in 2022 having lost all their matches, are under new management in the shape of Mike Hussey and have eight vacancies to fill in the draft.

All teams in the men's Hundred will add two further players to their squads as Vitality Blast wildcards at the conclusion of the group stage of the counties' T20 tournament.

Six players have placed a £125,000 top-tier reserve price on their own heads in the men's draft. Five of those are overseas stars: Kieron Pollard, Shakib Al Hasan, Mitchell Starc, Stoinis and Zampa. The one domestic player, Tom Bailey of Lancashire, has 26 career T20 wickets and an economy rate approaching 10.

In the women's event, where the leading players are paid around a quarter of their equivalents in the men's game (£31,250), only Danni Wyatt has put herself into the top reserve price bracket.
