What's the match?

Oval Invincibles face Manchester Originals in the final of the men's Hundred 2023.

When is it taking place?

The game is due to start at 6pm BST on Sunday, August 27.

Where is the match taking place?

The final will take place at Lord's.

Who's got the form?

Oval Invincibles secured direct passage to the final after finishing top of the men's Hundred group with seven wins out of eight, only losing to Birmingham Phoenix en route to Lord's.

They are joined by Manchester Originals, winners of the Eliminator. Last season's runners-up are back in the final after overcoming Southern Brave at the Kia Oval, completing the highest successful chase in the history of the competition to progress.

Invincibles will be hoping for a repeat of the pair's group stage clash when they landed a 94-run success, the biggest margin of victory in the tournament.

What's the key matchup?

It was the Invincibles' success with the ball against the Originals' top order which settled the game just over three weeks ago and that will be a key element to the game once again.

The form of Jos Buttler, Phil Salt and Max Holden has underlined the Originals' burst into the final and their capacity to let fly was there for all to see in the chase against Brave.

Invincibles will have a much-changed attack for the final, with Spencer Johnson and Sunil Narine's stints having come to an end. Johnson, who has been replaced by Paul Stirling, will be a particular loss having taken 3 for 1 from his 20 deliveries.

Can I get tickets?

Tickets for the final are sold out.

What's the weather forecast?

Sunny conditions with temperatures in the high teens are expected at Lord's, although the odd shower could cause a brief disruption.

What are the squads?

Oval Invincibles: Sam Curran, Sunil Narine (Adam Zampa from August 13), Will Jacks, Jason Roy, Tom Curran, Sam Billings, Tom Lawes, Heinrich Klaasen (Jimmy Neesham from August 20), Ross Whiteley, Graham Clark, Gus Atkinson, Spencer Johnson (Paul Stirling from August 25), Danny Briggs, Nathan Sowter, Zak Chappell, Tawanda Muyeye

Manchester Originals: Jos Buttler, Usama Mir, Phil Salt, Laurie Evans, Ashton Turner, Jamie Overton, Tom Hartley, Richard Gleeson, Paul Walter, Josh Tongue, Josh Little, Wayne Madsen, Tom Lammonby, Mitchell Stanley, Max Holden, Ben Raine, Zaman Khan (replacing Josh Little - August 16-23, replacing Ashton Turner from August 24)

What's the team news?

Paul Stirling, the player of the match in the 2021 final between Southern Brave and Birmingham Phoenix, has been brought in by Oval Invincibles as a replacement for Spencer Johnson. The Australian, and his compatriot Adam Zampa, left the competition at the end of the group stage due to international commitments.

Josh Tongue is out of the final having withdrawn from England's T20 squad scheduled to face New Zealand. But the Originals have no further injury issues to contend with.

What are the possible starting XIs?

Oval Invincibles: Jason Roy, Paul Stirling, Will Jacks, Sam Curran, Sam Billings, Ross Whiteley, Jimmy Neesham, Tom Curran, Nathan Sowter, Zak Chappell, Gus Atkinson

Manchester Originals: Phil Salt, Jos Buttler, Laurie Evans, Max Holden, Wayne Madsen, Paul Walter, Jamie Overton, Calvin Harrison, Richard Gleeson, Josh Little, Zaman Khan

What are the odds?

The bookmakers can hardly separate the finalists. Manchester Originals have been installed at 5/6, while Oval Invincibles are available at 19.20.

What's the prediction?

The Invincibles have a higher number of potential matchwinners in their squad and are the safe pick, particularly based on the emphatic nature of their success earlier in the competition.
